Campout-The Narrows
I have some revised information
regarding the making of reservations for "The Narrows". The
reason why we COULD NOT book Section "A" is that the Park
WILL close AFTER LABOR DAY. Our camp out will start on
Friday, Sept. 19th and we will leave on Sunday, September
21st. (THE PARK CLOSES THAT DAY).
We have booked B-43. We are going
to come in a couple of days early (Wed 17th). See you when
you get there.
Here are some sites IF you want on
the water: B # 14, 21, 23, 25 (Not as close to us).
Some sites a little closer to us
would be: B # 30, 33, 35, 36, 44, 45, 46. Those are all
near the bathhouse (fyi).
I would recommend that you look at
site lengths so make sure you are getting one that suits
your rig.
Here are
directions to the campground:
From Glasgow, KY.
Go SOUTH on 31-E approx 6-8 miles South of Glasgow. You
will see a "Corps" sign for the "Narrows.
Turn right onto Ky 1318. Go 1
mile.
Turn left at stop sign onto South
Lucas Rd. Go 1/2 mile, turn right at the "Narrows"
sign.
Go 1.5 miles to Campground.
From Scottsville, KY:
Go NORTH on 31-E approx 6-8 miles
North of Scottsville.
Go PAST "Bailey's Point & Barren
River State Park signs.
At Ky highway1318, You will see a
"Corps" sign for the "Narrows.
Turn left onto Ky 1318. Go 1 mile.
Turn left at stop sign onto South
Lucas Rd. Go 1/2 mile, turn right at the "Narrows" sign.
Go 1.5 miles to Campground.
